My time of the day
"Unless I can leap like a frog or sprint like Marion Jones, there is a 1/1000000 chance I will arrive by 7.07 am."
I'm getting a bit bored here people. Please update your blogs. Entertain me. I was so bored yesterday I spent five hours reading Maddox a site the idiot behind the iron mask had mentioned in his post. I don't know why people get so offended and send him hate mail. It just fuels him to write more. I think Maddox writes such offensive stuff because despite our morally right and politically correct souls, we enjoy reading provocative shit such as his. I mean why would his page have over 100 000 000 visitors if not for the fact that there's a sadistic part of us that enjoys reading such profanity, get offended and outraged on the victim's behalf and then continue to read on some more? His writings are just pure exagerration tailored in the most vulgar and provoking way so that readers actually get affronted by what he's saying. If he doesn't offend you, he has failed.
I am getting a bit excited that clinical year is starting in a week's time. I even made an Alfred route timetable.

I am getting a bit excited that clinical year is starting in a week's time. I even made an Alfred route timetable.
Route>>Monash>>Clayton>>Huntingdale>>SouthYarra>>>>Prahran
630>>>6.38>>>>>>>>>>>>6.44-6.54>>>>7.16-7.26>>>>>>7.28
631>>>>6.21>>>6.29-6.37>>>>>>>7.04-7.05/7.16>>>7.07/7.18
So if the buses and trains run on time, one should be able to catch the 6.38am bus from uni and arrive at Prahran station by 7.28 am! That really is just 50 mins to school. Even if the buses run a little late, the beauty of it, is that there is a 10 minute wait for the trains at Huntingdale and South Yarra.
That is if classes start at 7.30 am. However if classes start at 7am (egad!) as rumored to be, the 631 route will get me to school earlier, though I will still be late by either 10 or 20 minutes. Don't understand?
Its really simple. By the 631 route, I arrive at 7.04 am at South Yarra but the train bound for Prahran leaves at 7.05 am. Unless I can leap like a frog or sprint like Marion Jones, there is a 1/1000000 chance I will arrive at Prahran by 7.07 am. That leaves the later train at 7.16 am which will arrive at Prahran at 7.18 am.
Anyway if you had chosen to skip the last two paragraphs of Melbourne's public transport mumbo jumbo, essentially I will be late for 7 am classes. Like you care. Let's just hope there aren't many 7 am classes.
Anyway I don't know what's the big deal about catching public transport to Alfred. I used to travel roughly about an hour to school last time everyday even in small sunny Singapore. I don't see it as a chore. When I first started school here, I sorely missed my morning rides to school. I love the routine of sitting in the bus, listening to music and staring into the blackness of wee mornings. Its my time of the day.
So once again, and I have tirelessly said this to many people; No, I'm not moving to the city. Stop bugging me ok? Honestly these aussies. Waking up early is like the end of the world for them.
Puh leeze I used to wake up at 5 am everyday in primary school mind you. My mom would leave for work in Johor at 6 am and her driver would send us to school. I would arrive just in time when the schoolkeeper has unlocked our classrooms. In usual fashion, I would then proceed to bring down everyone's chairs from their tables and open the windows while waiting for the next person to arrive.
Those were the days in Haig Girls.
Actually third year is beginning to worry me a bit. I heard there were several people who had to do supps and some who will be repeating their years. It's not uncommon for students to drop out, retake exams or repeat years. Medicine ain't easy so give us a breaklah. InsyaAllah I hope I never have to do it. Not only will my dad kill me but I don't think I could face the disappointment.
I need to start ironing all my clothes. I used to wear crinkled jeans and tops to class everyday. The nearer you live to campus, the more disheveled and messy you look and the later you arrive for school.
Hey at least I shower ok, unlike some.
Plans for the week: Catch Brokeback Mountain (I suggest you watch this before Casanova if you are a Heath Ledger fan) and go camping. Kareen's birthday and CNY party. Buy a bike.
