Big Brother
This is Big Brother.
You have just expressed your opinion. That's a 5000 dollar fine. Go to the Diary room.
At the Diary room....
Are you aware of the rules when living in Big Brother's House? Expressing your own opinion is not allowed. Big Brother does not mean permit such atrocities to be spoken in the house.
Big Brother, if I'm not allowed to speak my mind, then what should I talk about?
You may talk about whatever you wish. The weather, the house - anything. Big Brother respects your rights. You may even stand on the bench and shout to the high heavens your thoughts but you must always remember that Big Brother is always watching. You may talk, but you may only talk with the understanding of Big Brother's rules. Before you speak, you must think about what you are implying.
Big Brother, I don't understand you. Are you saying that I must think before I speak?
Yes that is exactly what Big Brother is telling you.
Big Brother, my words are essentially the product of my thoughts. I must have thought it to speak it. Only it is unrehearsed and uncensored, therefore my raw thoughts. If I am understanding your rules right, I have to shower my thoughts with flowers and perfume before presenting it aloud. Then is it not your thoughts that I am voicing? Then how is it I am able to speak whatever I wish to say?
You can't.
What do you mean Big Brother? You confuse me. Please explain.
Big Brother has said it loud and clear. You simply can't speak your mind. Your form of expression will only bring about dissent. Big Brother's house is peaceful. It is clean and green and free from anarchy. It is a haven and you should consider it a privilege to live in Big Brother's House. Everyone who follows Big Brother's rules are happy and could not ask for anything more. No one is dissatisfied. You too should do the same. For expressing your unwanted opinion earlier, I am awarding you one strike for speaking against Big Brother. This means you will be up for nomination this week to be evicted.
Big Brother, who decides whether I will be evicted?
The people who watch Big Brother will. They will decide and vote either to save or evict you.
Big Brother, I am confident the public will be on my side and fight to save me. The power is in their hands not yours Big Brother. The power is with the people.
Yes the power is with the people. Big Brother has been very good to them and gifted them with many luxuries that are far more important than the luxury you aspire to. Big Brother is confident that the people will not abuse the power that Big Brother has so generously bestowed upon them (and the abuse of power is against the rules) .
Big Brother, if you do not want people to think freely, then why did Big Brother not have robots instead of people? They are surely much more suited to the likes of head nodding. In fact they can be programmed to do so whenever you wish, even to the full effect of prostration.
For being impertinent, Big Brother is awarding you another strike. A third strike will put you at risk of being evicted. Big Brother has warned you.
(I must think before I speak therefore my immediate response to that is Big Brother): Big Brother I am sorry for breaking another one of your sacred rules. I am truly repentent. You Big Brother of course know everything therefore I will always listen to you. You have pampered me and made my life easy therefore I can only conclude that you act with good will in all matters of the House.
I see you are learning how to be a good housemate. Big Brother knew you will eventually learn the ways to live in this house.
Big Brother, this thinking before I speak is already becoming tiresome. And I find that I am unable to keep it all inside, Big Brother. May I then come to the Diary Room and speak my true feelings with you here away from the housemates?
No. You may not.
How about the toilet then? Would that be a better way for me to release my inhibitions?
No. You may not voice your opinions anywhere in Big Brother's House.
Big Brother. You are being unreasonable. Surely I am allowed to feel some discontent. Surely I must be allowed to think freely somewhere. Is that not an innate part of being human? Is it not what distinguishes us from mere animals?

You are a human. But you are a human in Big Brother's house. You may feel discontent in your heart. But no action nor speech nor literature is to be borned of it.
Big Brother if I may not act as my heart desires, speak as my mind chooses and live as my soul yearns too, you have essentially reduced me to a slave. Tie me up in chains and then whip me into submission then. At least with each crack of the whip, every cry of pain will be a shout of defiance and free thought.
For arguing with Big Brother and being an obstinate, stubborn housemate, you have broken yet another rule. Big Brother is awarding you your third and final strike.
What do you mean by this Big Brother? I do not recall this as one of your rules.
Big Brother can whenever Big Brother chooses, to change the rules when Big Brother sees fit. Big Brother does not want you in the house. There are plenty other people who wants to live in this house. You have been evicted. Your have 30 seconds to say your goodbyes and leave the House.
Thank you Big Brother.

HAHAHAHAHAA!!.. Oh Big Brother! Only people who don't watch BB doesnt have a life!!~ HAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!~~~
1984 was a damn terrifying book. that big brother made me pee in my pants. fear; now that's cool entertainment. :p
its really about the real people. people are never as transparent in real life as they are on BB. you get to see the psyche of everyday people and realise sometimes their trivial problems have been our problems before. their jealousy, we have owned before. their insecurities scarily hits home. BB Adult is entirely different chapter.
1984 was good. and here is where you missed the point my friend; this post has never been about BB Australia or any reality TV show.
read between the lines and you realise I speak of a far more serious and closer to home subject. :)
my comment honestly was about the reality show and not your content. and 1984 did scare the shit out of me. i should have foreseen the weakness in the link established between my earlier comment and that of the entry's themes of Big Brother. :)
