The madness begins

I do apologise for the lack of updates since I landed in Melbourne. Busy wouldn't be the word for it since the clinical year is only starting on Monday. More like emotionally occupied.

I stress easily, this I am well aware of. But it peaks for a while, and the stress usually dissipates after I get organised. Just finished browsing through the paediatric handbooks from the faculty - what is it with this evidence based crap?! Compulsory online discussions, more CATs, case studies and presentations?! Bleh. It's soooo Monashy. Plus clinical and clerical stuff that needs to be signed again. I hate doing something just to get it signed. It takes out all the enjoyment of being there to learn.

I won't whinge anymore, since most of you have absolutely no idea what I am ranting about and probably don't care anyway.

Just to let you know I didn't get burnt alive in some bushfire or eaten by a great white shark (I love shamu!).

For now, like Dory says, just keep swimming.
