Full of heart

I thought I might put up this video from dear hikmah (she's full of heart this young lady:>). It definitely has made me rethink about my elective next year; 6 weeks anywhere in the world. I'm not sure if the thought of going to some impoverished area for 6 weeks for medical elective is attractive to me because of the adventure, the desire to do something good or how the save-the-third-world-junkie image fills one with purpose and worth. I think it's incredibly rare to have pure motivations and I'll be the first one to admit that.

I have met some very inspiring friends. They are your everyday people yet their heart and love always humble me in extraordinary ways. Alhamdulillah for them.

I hope I find that inspiration soon.
