Personality order
Rahayu asked me what my Patronus charm would be; something that will reflect my true inner self. I thought about this for a while and I've decided that I can't really pick an animal that truly reflects me (hers was a tiger).
I've decided that if I had to cast the Patronus charm against dementors, my patronus would take the shape of a large shaggy dog and a big fat cute fish called Fifi. It's a weird combination but both are very close to my heart.
Speaking of the true inner self, we had a great lecture on Personality Disorders the other day. I googled Personality Disorder tests and took a few. These tests are in no way to be taken for the real thing (an actual test is about 500 questions) but it's interesting to see which sort of traits I have the most. A balanced person will have a bit of everything. I seem to have avoidant, schizoid and narcisstic traits (egad!). In fact my highest score is for the avoidant traits! Bet you didn't see that coming huh. Remember that the notes below are for people with an actual disorder; they tend to act in a manner characteristic of their disorder in every situation while most of us are able to adapt and use different mechanisms in different situations and will most likely have traits in all the clusters, making us people with personality orders.
Paranoid: Doesn't trust others, thinks people are out to get them, aloof and cold
Schizoid: Cold and aloof, unable to have intimate relationships, have no desire to have friends, excessive day dreaming
Schizotypal: the weirdos, magical thinking, social anxiety
Histrionic: overdramatic, vain, quickly bored, shallow relationships, manipulative
Borderline: mood swings, empty, no sense of self, unstable indentity
Narcissitic: need for constant adoration, grandiose sense of self, no empathy
Antisocial: con man, lies, cheats, violates rights of others, juvenile delinquents
Avoidant: social withdrawal in spite of need for affection, loners, hypersensitive to rejection, avoids conflict
Compulsive: the perfectionist, inability to warm, unable to grasp the big picture
Dependent: the doormat, subordinates to the needs of others, unable to make own decisions
Passive aggressive: persistent ineffectiveness, proscrastinates, resist demands to be efficient as an indirect expression of anger
Disclaimer: I don't really hide in corners or avoid conflict.

Anyway, for the personality test, do you have the links you took your test in?
