When words fail

After receiving the email, I was quite frustrated. I decided to surf you tube to actually look for episodes of Salaam Cafe to distract me. Apart from discovering there's a prayer place at the MCG, I found these two videos that had pertinent points I had been struggling to make through my emails.

Not intended for any other purposes other than to make two points - names and the challenges involved. For reasons only a select few will know. I value all of my friends and they know I am far from a preacher. Otherwise I'm just counting the days :(

Hmmm...*hugs*.

I must admit, I blend easier without the headscarf (and oddly enough, it allows me to practice my religion without attracting unnecessary attention). But stereotypes still exist, and as evidenced by my discourse with a consultant, the fight against these negative images will remain very relevant for some time.

But you know, that I know, that you are made of far stronger material than that: that nothing, not even bitter words, can break your spirit. And don't you forget that. :)
