Before work

My petunias are blooming, thanks to Amy who kindly watered my plants in my absence. Yayness. I love flowers.

I don't like schools today. There's too much bullying and unkindness.

1/2 of college kids in the US have thought about committing suicide. Hmm.

I have to go to work in 2 hours. Symphony is here. This should be good. Finally some computer efficiency. Had an email from the director that we are not to eat or drink at computer terminals anymore. Bummer.

My grandmother is getting worse. It must be so painful to cough all the time, unable to sleep or find comfort.

I have to start surgical term in 2 weeks in the country, far away from halal food and my cosy apartment. I just hope the accomodation provided is clean, especially the bathroom and free from rats.

I flew Qantas for the first time. The service was slow but they had Cadbury hot chocolate and Twilight so I was content. The cabin crew wore aprons during serving and they had ?in-flight chefs and they chit-chatted amongst themselves while working and ate and drank when they liked. How very Australian. (Can you tell I've been flying SQ for too long?)

I need to buy a car soon. I'm flipping between Volvos and Hondas.

An old but still good friend of mine is pregnant. I'm very happy for her. InsyaAllah she will have a healthy baby.

I have 4 pair of new shoes. I can't decide which to wear to work
.

Yaya's words from her blog are still ringing in my head - "Susah when you're in two worlds. You don't know which one is real."
